so as the title says i open AKo to 1.25 (my BTN standard) and get 3 bet by a fairly new player in the SB to $5. ( this is his 6th hand, hes already 3 bet once, and looks to be a bit splashy

i 4 bet to 12.25, planning on getting it or winning there but instead he flats.

FLOP comes T 8 6 rainbow, he checks to me.

i wasnt really sure what to do here, but decided on a cbet of 12.00, and he jammed for like 18 more. ****ty spot. I called here considering the price is good and figuring maybe sometimes he only has a straight draw or air or the same hand.

a few questions about the hand, do you like my 4 bet sizing, or should i make it bigger, and would you cbet here, or is this one of the boards you just sigh and give up on?

After the hand my first thought was that i should have made it bigger pre to drive hands like this he had out and take it down pre, but maybe this is too results oriented thinking.

What do you guys think of the villans call pre flop? do you think it is profitable to flat here when i 4 bet this size or do you think he made a mistake? I would have to think that it is a great spot for me preflop, but a ****ty board comes.. That being said, do you think i played it like spew or this is pretty standard? I really didnt think villans range was as strong as it should be to call a 4 bet, and he would have to check fold every board he missed, but maybe this board just hits his range too hard.

Interested to hear what you guys think.
