he doesn't have a fold to 3bet % because he never PFR's lol
fold to cbet 3b pot 64%
2.9k hands

overall he is passive, never seen him get out of line once. checks down top pair, only really shows aggression when he has nuts.

thoughts on the turn and river? all feedback appreciated.

If you're checking the turn then it's to check back or fold the river so not sure why this thread exists given your description.

should i bet/fold the turn? or is that too thin even vs a villan like this?
07-03-2014 , 04:46 PM
Maybe. Idk if you value cut yourself or not. Does he have a bunch of Kx where x is less than or equal to T? He certainly chops with you a decent amount, too.

I think it's a 2barrel, probably not too big tho, so he can keep calling with AQ which is a good part of his range on the turn. He can also have KTs, QTs, why not even AJs... if he raises we can happily fold.

Now as played it would have been pretty close vs a ~40$+ bet, here I don't think we can fold, especially because I think most fish will often bet 2/3 - 3/4 PSB with 2 pairs.

You must have missed the part about the guy never bets unless he has the nuts....though I agree if he shows up with a flush here the turn is a bet.

Is he super sticky post op?

Oh yeah did miss that part indeed. I still think turn is a smallish bet, and I think with that pretty solid read of 2K9 hands we can happily fold the river.

u mean does he peel light post flop? he seems like a fit/fold type villan. he is so passive though. any aggression from this guy is usually the nuts.

maybe a turn bet/fold is best. since he will never crai worse, and he will call again with those hands you guys mentioned, pair+draws.

Sorry meant sticky like calling any pair, draw, etc.

I mean he only bets the nuts but does he go multiple streets with marginal hands.

You can safely b/f turn and check back river if called. As played I think it's a fold, as the flush is out there too and he still bets, which means a pretty strong hand for this guy, they usually get scared of it and capable of checking two pair and whatnot.

Pretty easy fold river I think given description.

Can't see him ever valuebetting a worse K here and what's he got to bluff with? Turning TJ or AJ into a bluff?
07-07-2014 , 03:31 PM
Definitely think there's some good value left ott
07-07-2014 , 05:42 PM
Def bet turn imo
07-07-2014 , 06:12 PM
I would be folding river

Gotta be the turn here.

Why are we slowing down vs fish? Stop doing that. Just bet 3 streets on this board and fold v raises.

+1

Bet, bet, bet and fold to a raise. Passive fish will only raise the nuts

vs this player you dont bet turn LOL this is terrible for several reasons, the most important being:

1) VALUE
2) how the **** can you possibly make a mistake on the river now?
