Hey everyone. Long time no see. Villain in the hand is a reg running like 24/20 or something like that. We've been battling a lot this sesion. I made a big call down against him earlier here:

    BTN: $200 (100 bb)
    Hero (SB): $524.70 (262.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K Q
BTN folds, Hero raises to $6, BB calls $4

    Flop: ($12) 4 2 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $8, BB calls $8

    Turn: ($28) K (2 players)
Hero bets $21, BB calls $21

    River: ($70) J (2 players)
Hero bets $48, BB raises to $160.85, Hero calls $112.85

    Results: $391.70 pot ($1.00 rake)
    Final Board: 4 2 5 K J
BB showed A 8 and lost (-$195.85 net)
    Hero showed K Q and won $390.70 ($194.85 net)

Not totally sure how that impacts his range here. I don't think he can really value shove less than Qc. His two pair turned boat range would prob include K4s and A4o / A4s. 94s is probably not there. He 3b 99 preflop I'm almost certain. Note that the second hand is 0.5/1 so he's stuffing like 170bb's.

    BB: $198 (198 bb)
    UTG: $101.50 (101.5 bb)
    MP: $85 (85 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q J
4 folds, Hero raises to $3, BB calls $2

    Flop: ($6) 9 4 K (2 players)
Hero bets $5, BB calls $5

    Turn: ($16) A (2 players)
Hero bets $12.50, BB calls $12.50

i think this is 44 like 90% of the time.

nothing else makes very much sense.

i also dont think you should have bet the river.

Let me just say I really dislike the river call on the first hand.

I think a bet OTR is fine although it should be bottom of our betting range, so snapfold when raised.

Yeh don't hate calling, he can't jam Qc and wouldn't be surprised to see A9/K9 relatively often

What do we fold to the jam if we call this hand? It's not like we're betting the Tc for value, right?

Agreed it looks strange. I suppose my feeling was that he was only shoving flushes for value and that combined with something in the timing of his bet led me to call. Was kind of just instinctual but happened to be right, meh.

Yeah that was my thinking as well. It's just weird he shoved since I have pretty much all boats in my range.

Wait, why wouldn't we bet the Tc for value?

Seems pretty thin though I don't play these stakes.

I hate this spot but I'm leaning towards folding. He could be doing this with blockers. I'd make a note to check call with some show down hands
