Table is fairly tight. The Russian to my left is slightly looser, but mostly everyone is tight. I'm probably the loosest player.
I have $313.07 UTG holding K

I open for $6
Everyone folds to SB with $218.15 who 3-bets to $27.70
BB calls
I 4-bet to $101
SB instantly pushes all-in
BB folds

SB shows AA and ends up winning
Come to think of it, when does a tight person ever take this line with QQ or worse? $27.70 is a huge 3-bet as it is. Already at that I felt like I was beat, but continued anyway. I've always assumed it is bad to fold KK preflop, but I find a lot of spots where they always seem to have aces.
Maybe poker has evolved to a point where folding KK preflop sometimes is okay. Otherwise why would I feel so gross putting my money in spots like this. They come up a lot more often than I would normally expect.
I find a couple of spots like these that show up and my opponent almost always has AA. Maybe KK if I'm lucky. I feel like I'm just putting my money in knowing I'm going to lose, but I do it anyway because... well I'm afraid I'm making a mistake somehow. My brain has been programmed to never throw away kings.
The BB player probably had QQ or JJ. That was probably my signal to fold. because it makes it even more likely I'm beat by SB player. The instant push without thinking after my 4-bet shockingly might be a good hero fold. Someone with QQ there would have to think there for at least a second. Especially a tighter player.
Should I seriously consider folding KK as a possibility.
