200NL: Hero Call w/ Underpair facing river bet 200NL: Hero Call w/ Underpair facing river bet

Just joined the table, so not too many reads. BTN doesn't seem too fishy based off stats.

Flop c-bet I'm pretty sure is standard. Turn's not a good spot to keep barreling, so I decided to check/decide. I don't think we can fold this turn yet, as this flop is pretty floatable. Overs + backdoor clubs, A-high, club draws, double backdoors, etc. He might even be turning 44-77 into a bluff.

OTR, some straight draws and all club draws missed. Also, with the paired 3's on the flop, it's less likely he has 33. I think his value range is just super narrow here. He is basically repping KJ+, and even then I see people nit-check back KJ here OTR at times. With 2 3's out there, it's less likely he has 33. I think this was close since I have a lot of Jx here when I x/c turn, but I had no club blocker & no straight draw blocker.

People have definitely been spewier since I moved up to 200NL. I've seen quite a bit of light cold 4-betting, and even 5-bet bluff ships with suited wheel aces vs my 4-bet bluffs twice 120bb & 160bb deep. Obv it feels great to pick off bluffs, but sometimes you run terrible & they just always have it.

What's the worst hand you call with here OTR with? And OTT, I think we can fold 22, 55, 66, but we should x/c call 77-1010? Reason being, 55/66 block backdoor straight draws, and 77-1010 beat lower pocket pairs fishy players might turn into bluffs OTT.

On turn I'm putting him on a AJ/KJ/club draw/KQ/44-77. Turn call is standard.

On the river, I'm not expecting him to have J9 as that shouldnt have bet turn. U need 36% against his range, I started with 20 combos of AJ/KJ, balanced it with 8 combos of likely club draws that could've called pre and not paired flop or riv, and threw in 44-66. Against that you're at around 48%

So I say its a call

edit: screwed up combos first post

^ Imo his flop floating range and turn betting range is going to be quite wider than that.

In practice, you're probably right given the flops texture.

But, my point is that even erring on the side of caution its still a call math wise, so if u lost this one no biggy

Call and make a note, not sure what else to do. Feels as though we're just too high up to fold. Think you played this hand well, maybe flop sizing can be a touch smaller with your whole range.
