100z- folding FH against 2x river overbet? 100z- folding FH against 2x river overbet?

11-22-2014 , 10:22 AM
Villain is a nitty supernova
19/14 1,5k hands
18% utg pfr
flop cbet 40%(58), turn cbet 56%(9), river cbet 50%(2)
22 WTSD%, 60 W$SD%

So, what are we doing on the river? I can't imagine him bluffing like this and I think valuebetting worse with that sizing is just ******ed (esp with his image). OTOH, I'm losing to basically only losing to KK (1 combo) and AK (6) cause there are no K9 or K6 in his range and i highly doubt he would bet this big ott with AA.

On the side note I do have AK in my flatting range pre vs him in these positions so we are not on the absolute top top of our range (damn close to it tho )

Edit: Can we consider he's sometimes doing with the backdoor nut flush just cause he thinks it's always good?

the times we have a hand better than KQ are so slim OTR we cant fold a FH surely.

Well, looking at relative handstrength vs his line and sizing you have a bluffcatcher otr, so yeah ofc you can find a fold in this spot.

Call fast

As Nirwanda said you have a bluffcatcher. If he sometimes overbet bet bluff river or you think that he thinks that you would fold 99,KQ, KJ to that overbet than call. Otherwise jist fold.

How does 18% utg raise fit with 19/15? Anyway, if you are calling with KQ, AK sometimes PF then I'd think you can let this go if you are worried about GT (esp if you let go TT on the turn). Really, calling is pure spew against most 19/15 types unless you have a specific read.

It dont seem like villain is going to lay this on down after betting this big ott. I would probably raise the turn - Would that be fine?

^ I generally don't want to have a c/r range on this board texture given positions, if I started raising top of my range at some point before river it would become easy to tripple barrel every time i just x/c.

To those telling to call- are you saying that just cause we are on the top of our range (that's still a good point) or you think he can occasionally bluff/vbet worse?
