Looks like he is setting up a river jam. So call with the intention of calling an all in otr?

3-bet bigger pre. Bet bigger on the flop. You have top set in a 3-bet pot so folding isn't an option imo. You can call-call or just gii. Get value from his worse hands pre and post flop with bigger sizing.

I'd start by calling turn and deciding rivers, Mostly calling blanks

Jam, expect to get no folds out of his value range/combo draws. If he does have some semi bluff i doubt you're going to induce another river bet out of him (if he misses) by calling anyway cause imo you'd look incred strong now. Doesn't hurt to protect against this sort of equity too.

Obv we aren't really planning on folding so w/e if we get it in vs QT.

Good points all around I like this.

Vs me calling turn is better since I'm bluffing with A4s, 54s, 87s type hands quite often here and will jam river because I still expect a bunch of folds from Jdxd, AA-QQ hands (and bricked draws will fold too, I know I beat those but it's not like I can c/c river with bottom pair), but if you think this villain is bluffing with hands that have more equity (good draws) then go ahead and jam. Folding is certainly never an option.

Another consideration to make may be that he may raise fold with 98 two pair which would be awful for us. If you play these games on a regular basis you should be aware of your opponents general range structure and whether they exhibit this sort of "mergy aggression" "thin value" type strategy i.e. the classic raise for info fold.
