100NL: Playing connected turns as caller

No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (3 handed)

SB ($31)
BB ($102.20)
Hero (Button) ($133.68)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 7, A
Hero bets $3, 1 fold, BB calls $2

Flop: ($6.50) 5, 10, A (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $4.87, BB raises $15.83, Hero calls $10.96

Turn: ($38.16) 6 (2 players)
BB bets $27.62, Hero?

Villain is a LAG who starts tables. We have played a little bit, and this session, about 8mins ago, i checked back A4 on AsJs3c, and called his bets on 2h turn Ad river(he bet close to pot on river with 9d8d).
I wasn't certain of my flop range, but since im opening any Ax, i figured A7 was sort of where i wanna start vbetting to balance my cbet range, could be wrong though.

I anticipated a check-raise since the previous hand he saw me check an ace, but i planned to call it, and call a turn bet, and fold to a river bet since i have better hands. This turn presents a problem though, that a lot of rivers are going to be difficult for me. I don't really like shoving turn though, especially with this hand, it's just a bluff catcher. Is it still ok for me to balance by calling most(if not all) of my range on the turn? Or do you generally just shove or fold in these spots?

Folding doesn't make sense if you call the flop. I think shoving is best, calling only makes sense if he's going to bluff his missdraws on the river everytime. Not something that I would except when he has a little over 1/2 psb left and you rep an ace.
I guess you could call turn and fold river but 1) you allow him to realise his equity and 2) you allow him to bluff you at a frequency where you probably can't call

What foreever learning said, a call down looks pretty good, shove with the draws out and spr.
He probably doesn't have AK,AQ or TT,AA in his range, so his valuerange is really small.

Probably shove turn and expect to take it down a lot. Only set he really can have is 55, which should be discounted since many people 3-bet or fold these hands today and you opened to 3x.
Otherwise there is 1 combo of A5s which also is a popular 3-bet hand, AT is probably our biggest worry but combowise that's not enough to fold vs an aggro villain who has seen you check back Ax with a million draws out etc... in fact, given that he has seen you check back Ax, he would probably lead quite often with his strong hands.

I think there's merit in both calling and shoving for value. Nonetheless, I lean towards calling because I think we could get away from river shoves and safely snap most bricks.

+1

This thinking is superb against both ranges, nutted and semi bluff/bluff.

By shoving we're saying that we have the best hand here alot vs this LAG vilain. So if he is always bombing the river we may as well call and keep his bluffs/semi-bluffs in and call safe rivers.

I villain shuts down otr alot when he misses i prefer shoving now to extract max value
