100NL: Overpair 4way facing action

$0.50/$1 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 5 Players

CO: $244 (244 bb)
BTN: $100 (100 bb)
SB: $76.96 (77 bb)
BB: $100 (100 bb)
Hero (MP): $100 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with Q Q
Hero raises to $3.50, CO calls $3.50, BTN folds, SB calls $3, BB calls $2.50

Flop: ($14) 2 9 J (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $10, CO folds, SB raises to $20, BB folds, Hero?

Turn: ($54) 5 (2 players)
SB bets $25, Hero?

Villain was 43/24 over 13 hands, don't know anything about him yet, but notice his stack size.

Should i be worried? Is it more likely he has aces/set here than AJ?
He has 28.5bb left on the turn if you get that far in the hand.
How would you play KJ or AJ?

I think the chance of him having JX (esp AJ) is big enough to shove here, though obv not thrilled. I'd probably pitch any J since it reduces the combos he can have.

You need to make the desicion otf, ur getting about 1.5-1, so u need 40 %.
he can have sets, which he won't raise 100%,JJ, which he will raise even less often and sometimes 3b pre, maybe sometimes AA/KK.
but he doesn't look like a 40/5 player and sometimes he will have random OESD,gutshots, air and his range is pretty wide to call pre probably, so shove turn with how little he has behind.

The turn really doesnt make a difference, hes going to continue his bet on the turn alot of the time, either ship flop or turn is fine. If we think he could have a lot of draws/air then we it would be better to call and let him stab at turn/river. Hes definitely going to think his AJ/KJ is good when the turn changes nothing.

I agree that you have to make the decision on the flop, pretty tough spot actually. Easy jam on the turn.

13 hands is kinda early to draw any conclusions, but due to his stack size I think shoving turn is fine

If you're putting him on a J then getting it in on the flop is better since a K or A on the turn kills the action.

Re: 100NL: Overpair 4way facing action

I think we can discount pure air 100% on this board given it's a minraise and 4way, that basically leaves us hoping that a) he valueraises worse or b) he is semibluffing. We're flipping against combodraws and A high flushdraws and are in really bad shape against sets and 2pairs. We really don't have enough equity against that range. Fold.
