Would you only be flatting this flop with strong hands vs very aggro regs? My thought is that alot of regs at 100nl wont be trying to tripple barrel bluff you off your hand just because you flat the flop.

Re: 100NL: Krantz never folds this

well
when your opponent has a tight 3betting range( -> lots of strong holdings that just stack off on the flop) or a "cbet and give up" mentality you dont gain much from slowplaying and are better off just raising it on the flop to avoid the potential action killers on the turn

Re: 100NL: Krantz never folds this

Thnx very much for replying all.

At the time of playing i was thinking i was suppose to continue with QJ somehow, and since i don't think i should call anything on the turn(since the board is so rediculously connected now), i thought i had to shove.
Thankfully i decided to fold though.

After reviewing the hand afterwards, it seemed like id only have to continue with AK+(since i dont 4bet OTB i have AK+ in my range).
But shoving AK and various nutted hands seems terrable to me now, since how can villain call anything worse?
This board just hits my range too hard

so why should we fold turn then? didnt you just explain a reason for this to be in our shoving range?

Flop sizing makes it a fold for me, but as played I think are perceived range looks fairly strong (depending how much you have been defending vs 3bets) and hes still betting into us making this a fold for me imo.

Call turn for sure, probably most rivers as well. I don't valuebet river if checked to. Could see folding river if we flat AQ PF 100% of the time or smth.

(given our lack of reads and slight indication of villain not being a total idiot I don't mind a fairly exploitable PF fold either FWIW)

Re: 100NL: Krantz never folds this

I don't have a 4bet range IP, or a flop raising range, so if i continue more than AK on turn, villain can't bluff.
I think villain will be able to play perfectly on the river against our range. He will bluff flush draw completing rivers and only vbet us when draws miss..

Could you explain why you think QJ is a profitable call down vs an unknown?

But even if we knew villain was aggro i still dont think ive ever called down in a spot like this, im very weaktight in 3b pots.

would like to hear the theory behind calling down.
