Re: 100NL JJ river spot

this spot could be so much easy to handle if you were check the turn... On the turn we have an easy check/call... then on the river we again would have an easy check call spot... as played I think the best play is to bet very small (like 15) to get value from 2 pairs or something like that. Betting small induce some bluff so is not a disaster call if he shoves.

Re: 100NL JJ river spot

wouldnt check call be better since we can get him to spaz out on river?

if we jam river is 2 pair really calling us?

lookng at Vil stats i would call any small medium sized bet and fold to an AI.

bet fold like 15. or check it down. I doubt the villian is going to be like omg 15 imma shove over with my air and represent a flush.

we are missing so much value by just betting 15.if we bet small its to make him spazz out and call a shove

56/5 isn't making any big folds.

I go for the jam.

rarely looked up by worse
his numbers say he's really bad. bad players call with flush draws.
I'd c/f this

Re: 100NL JJ river spot

bet/fold 35 would leave his raise of 30 into a pot of like 140 meaning you have to be right ~1/5 to call, with this villain, I don't think I could fold there

i dont think he raises worse 20% of the time, looking at his stats 56/5 hes a caller not a raiser. he has 76 left on river so we can bet 35 valueown 2prs, TPs and fold to his 41 shove over the top

a c/f is just ridiculous.now seriously why would you do that??just because he calls with fds is no reason not to bet here.a B7f of 38 seems pretty decent here

Actually his numbers say because of the amount of bottom pairs hes going to give u 3 streets with it will strongly dwarf what % of his range is flush draws.

i agree with you here.

now, everyone thinks that hero's bet on the flop and turn were correct?? why not bet bigger on the flop, the turn didnt scared him so he can bet a little bigger to, then a shove on the river will look better? am i right here?
