100NL - Going allin with 96o (live) 100NL - Going allin with 96o (live)

Hero is BB with 96o and $280.

Villain is SB and has $270. Villain is old but somewhat tight overall. Typical average old poker player.

Two calls, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: 6 4 2 rainbow. $8 pot

Villain check, hero bets $5, fold, call, villain calls.

Flop: 6 4 2 6. $23 pot

Hero bets $15, fold, Villain calls.

River 6 4 2 6 9 $53 pot

Hero bets $30, villain raises to $75, hero goes into timebank, hero goes all-in, villain snap calls.

Thought?

Looks fine. Only one combination that beats you and no one's folding a worse boat.

What could villain have here? Hit the 1 outer on the river? If he did, it is what it is. Easy call.

He had 22, I guess I wasn't putting him on much. Was shocked he was so strong actually.

Him being old/tight means he definately has something when he raises river.

Way way way more combos of strong hands that you beat than ones that beat you (one combo 99), so your shove was good, nice hand.

How is it even a question?

Yeah man. His fault he lost this hand. He should have raised pre so 96o goes in the muck.

Check/fold turn. When you consider all the combos of boats and better 6X hands V has in his betting range you are basically never ahead.

As played OTR, re-raise to $120 to give him a chance to 4bet bluff shove his missed straight draws, which is like 90% of his range at this point.

I thought about folding turn. Was pretty sure I was beaten when I called actually.

Live O.M.C. player is never bluffing this river. Just have to figure out what hands he thinks are good enough to do this with and if you can beat some of them.

Obviously in this case we beat a lot of them so easy hand.

I was actually trolling since this every decision in this hand seemed super standard.
