not sure if I'm right but you need to call 42.93 into a pot that will be 125.44 so 125*x=42.93 and solve for x you get x=0.34 so you need 34% equity to call. give villain a range and pokerstove it

Board: 8h 7s Tc As
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 32.582% 31.94% 00.65% 815 16.50 { KsJs }
Hand 1: 67.418% 66.77% 00.65% 1704 16.50 { TT, 88-77, ATs+, QsTs, J9s, Ts9s, 96s, 6s5s, ATo+ }

The problem here is that we don't have much OC outs if his shove range is for true value other than the possibility of semi bluff.

You need 34% to call. I would round up to compensate for the time that we are a little off with this range speculation. That gives us 33%.

I'd say Fu@k it and call. That's too close to fold imo.

p.s. I think I like a check behind on turn vs this particular opponent simply to avoid this situation we are in because we have decent equity on turn but without SD value at this point.

1) Work out the pot odds:

Pot odds = Amount in pot / Amount to call

(82.51/42.93 = 1.92 to 1)

2) Convert pot odds to a percentage:

Percentage = 1/(pot odds + 1)

(1/2.92 = 34%)

3) Work out your pot equity using pokerstove

4) Compare the percentage to your pot equity (ie, if our pot equity is >34%, call)

Hope that helps.
