100NL: 3bet pot IP vs reg

Villain plays 23/17 over 2.1k hands with a 46% WWSF and 24% WTSD. Opens 50% BvB(atleast that vs me), raised previous opportunities(2) to steal BvB since he has been sitting at the table(recent), and i folded both.

Long term history between us: He used to have a high fold to 3bet stat, and so i 3bet bluffed him a lot, and then he started 4betting me a lot(a couple of those times BvB). Last session he 4bet BvB, I 5bet and he folded. Im happy bluffing vs him wide, because he opens rediculously wide, and im planning to shove over a 4bet very wide as a result.
This is probably the worse connected hand id choose, unless you count the weakest suited hands as worse. I think it's fine.

Onto the flop, im not rly sure of his flatting range, he probably should be 4bet/calling pretty wide against me, atleast AQ, and maybe AJ aswell.
Still, i think the board hits him fairly well and id have to barrel without equity to get him to fold. I don't like doing that so i give up with some air sometimes.

On the turn, i don't think he vbets most Jx, don't think he has many toppair hands, AT, maybe some Axs, and he probably has a lot of draws, and some total air he may choose to bluff with.
What do you think?

$0.50/$1 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 4 Players

SB: $101.93 (101.9 bb)
Hero (BB): $104 (104 bb)
CO: $151.58 (151.6 bb)
BTN: $143.98 (144 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 6 7
2 folds, SB raises to $3, Hero raises to $9, SB calls $6

Flop: ($18) A 9 J (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($18) 7 (2 players)
SB bets $12, Hero?

Re: 100NL: 3bet pot IP vs reg

First of all, I'd prob never 3bet with 76o knowing the history between us. I'd rather 3bet A4s or 44 and shove it over his 4bet.
You wanna play in position against him, so you should widen your 3betting range and if you wanna play many pots against him, that's def not a hand to 3bet this opponent with. (It's more a call than 3bet to me, but I think I'd just throw it out).

And what you wanna do after that check back on the flop? You can only bluffcatch his semi-bluffs that don't have a pair or bluff catch his complete air. But as you say, he connects with this flop pretty hard. But so do you, so why don't you cbet this flop and get him to fold Kx, Qx, underpairs, that still beat you?

Bet flop, as played fold turn... ez hand. If called consider double barreling if you do decide to then i would triple barrel a spade river.

You can flat pre and play 67o IP against someone who opens very wide.

This is not a great hand to be 3betting given your history with this player. I'd much rather 3b Ax suited, Kx suited, suited connectors, and small pairs so that I can jam over a 4b and have decent equity when called. Therefore, I'd either call or fold pre.

bet flop, fold turn here, agree with flatting his open rather than 3b this hand and rather 3b with the hands around that izanagi specified, maybe only high Kx suited.
