100 FF on PP , "interesting hand?" 100 FF on PP , "interesting hand?"

Hi everyone!
I have not played online cash games for a long time but started again today.

This was my 4th hand and it already seemed quite interesting to me because i have a couple game theory questions about it.

my check back on the flop is with the intention to balance my check back range and for pot control. Does this make sense in this occasion?

FWIK my opponent then tries to put pressure on a capped? range on the river. Is his hand a good candidate for it?

What do you think about this hand in general, would you take different lines or sizings in my opponents or my shoes?

Imo wp x flop and call down. Looks like easy game. For him defend K5o pre rather loose and then having trouble postflop, anyway bluff with blocker to best flush not bad bluff.

Well, w/o info on your opponent, checking the flop is fine. However, in general I'd keep a more aggressive approach on these kinds of boards for your open btn. Keep in mind this is still going to hit your opponents second best hand range a lot. And by betting you can bet more A high boards when you don't have an A. You start checking here too often and your opponents will be able to pick you off pretty easy and you'll lose a lot of potential pots where you could rep stronger and put more opponents in tough spots.

You only have a couple of hands, but when you do decide to bet or check on these boards, the second most important thing is how aggressive your opponent is. The more aggressive they are, the more I like moving your range to more checks in this spot. The less aggressive, the more you need to betting since you won't be opening up your opponents bluffing range enough.

Seems like a standard hand all around.

I'm just confused who said "interesting hand?". Is it in quotes for a reason?

He can c/r turn and bomb river. His betsize otr could also go up to ~$25 and be fine if he also played a few Kx hands like this.

I think this is a well balanced approach to how you played this hand. You played it well.
