I was playing extremely tight - maybe under 30/20 and this was one of my first or 2nd 3bet of the session - so maybe I coulda slowed down but I felt like this was a crazy call.

maybe it was the fact that he hit every single card but still LOL. That seems like a pretty good flop for me

maybe you just chose the wrong villain to bluff but as VS_PKR said your repping nuts/air so his call doesn't seem that bad if he thought you were capable of bluffing in this spot.

have seen players calling that on some ocassions, as someone previous said you were probably bluffing wrong guy, he said: I won't fold it no matter what

and I wouldn't make 3 b bluff in this spot cause u are representing only one hand really

really with QT i dont think you'd change your betsizing to near pot on the river, you'd probs go for 2/3rds as with other streets. maybe you dont but it could have been the deciding factor

tbh thou i just give up on turn, we didnt hit any of our backdoors and this flop hits his range pretty damn hard

standard calldown by the villain, also a fairly standard triple barrel with your hand (although giving up on turn has its merits also). Overall wp by both parties.

just c/c this flop. sucks to get it in, sucks to get blown off our equity, tough to get worse to call, tough to play on most turns once called.

i think having 2 bd draws and a single straight blocker makes it a potential better triple barrel then a bluff-catcher. Turns are also hard to play if we brick. It doesn't suck that much to get blown off our equity as we most likely don't have too much equity anyway vs a flop raise here.

When we don't turn a FD tho I probably just give up.

As far as it being a standard calldown by villain it depends. Vs some hero's then sure the calldown is a snap but given that there's no FD's and hero has played extremely tight up to then the call down might seem a bit ambitious.

I totally understand the bet on the turn, but why are we betting river? The only hand he's folding is JTxx, and many JTxx combos have two pair on this board.

I think OTF it's an easy c-c trying to improve OTT and giving up otherwise. I think his river call is horrible unless he correctly saw your suddenly increased bet size as desperation.
