Is it standard that every1 and their aunt just call flopped sets at fd boards? Often in multiway pots too. I just can't understand why but it keeps happening over and over. I'm not complaining, they can call all they want but I'm just suprised when they have middle set almost always (btw huge sample size, maybe 1-2k hands)

fwiw flash I kinda feel bad for u a little. never have I seen one poster be hated so much by the community. just take a break from here man. every post u make gets ridiculed. sort of sucks, but you somehow brought it upon yourself. you really need to do some soul searching, work on your game, perhaps learn some modesty and work on your ego a bit, and one day you will be welcomed again in this community and perhaps be a winning poker player again.

Chronic u nailed it with the ego part. We all have massive egos in some way or another. If we didn't, we wouldn't be playing a game where u put ur money on the table against another man in a battle of wits. But... Most of us try to hide our egos by being sarcastic self depricating dik heads. If someone were looking for a group of peers that didn't act line that for the most part, I am certain they could find another forum if not a sub forum within 2+2 that were a more lovey dovey/coddling/ghey group of posters. I am all for giving good advice when u have something useful/insightful to bring to the table. If u r really unqualified on xyz subject just stfu or make a sarcastic one line response IMO.

Got no problem believing the 2200 stack either. Never got any **** from Flash, so I'm sorry to see him go. Even though I didn't always agree with his posts, he was eager to give advice, which is only positive IMO.

Whilst I agree with GGRJ, Im not surprised at all by his decision. This entire forum is somewhat 'predatory' especially towards newbies. Ive been encouraging a friend to post on 2p2 because I know it helped me when I was first starting out even if my opinions were wrong. This shouldnt matter because each poster is merely posting an opinion regarding what they feel the optimum play is. Every time you're corrected, you learn a little though its unfortunate that rather than correcting, we have an entire thread thats derailed with stupid remarks that contribute nothing to this community.

I know there are repercussions though I dont quite want to get into it at this stage. I do believe however that the benefits would far supersede any that may exist. Ive been posting a little less recently but I still check the forums and this is by far my favourite thread. I respect the contributors here not only because of their ability but also their humility and genuine interest in assisting each other.

Avee, are u talking about SSPLO or 2+2 in general? I've seen some PLO noobs transitioning from NL HE saying that SSPLO is pretty kind in comparison to NLHE forums.
