Worked with PJ and we are 71% favorite over villain range on the turn, so betting seemsclear. The thing is that if we pot and villain shove, we need 27% equity to Stack off, and we only have 23% assumming villain just shove straights here (and it is likely because he is passive)

What are our options? I think just pot/calling is still the way to go, because if he decide to shove some few other strong hands besides straights we should have a call. I don't like checking because we have a huge equity advantage OTT, but on the other side betting smaller and folding sucks for me too because pot is big and we have 20% to improve on the river, and even implicits because if we check, villain hit the straight and bet the river and we shove, he could still call us because he seems fishy. (we are getting more value to against his overal range when we pot here also, for the times he does not have the straights and calls us with draws)

Then, I hate bet small/folding as much as checking back with that huge equity advantage here.

On the other hand, the option I more like that is pot/calling may loose a bit if villain shove just straights OTT, but I don't dare to give him that certainty for more passive he seems. And I don't dare to fold my hand neither for the threat of losing a few bbs on the case I was right with my read and he is shoving only straights. It make my game easir also against his overall range and maybe even more ev+, because we will win more money the times he doesn't have the straight and call us with draws, etc.

P.D: Playing this with more BBs would be more complicated yet imo. What would you do with say 200bbs on the turn? Just bet/fold ?

bet. 79 is pretty unlikely. i would bet in this spot regardless of stack sizes./

I am more interesting in bet sizes and reacts to shove. That's why I talked about differents stack sizes.

i would bet $6. if my opponent c/red I would give him credit for 79 and react appropriately based on his sizing. You are about 3:1 to 3.5:1 against filling up and will probably get it all on the river if you do fill up but you still have to discount your implied odds somewhat (they cannot be counted as equal to pot odds).
