Is this a good isolation raise on the turn?

I'm not too worried about UTG having a better hand after checking both streets. If MP had a full stack I would rather smooth call and look to hit the river but with his pot bet putting him effectively all in is this a good raise for isolation and to stack off in general?

His range on this board shouldn't be strong but he is VPIP'ing high and could have all loads of ****. If he has a 7 we're in good shape with the flush and 3 cards to make the best full. My logic was basically I thought folding was **** so we should try to isolate and get it in with probably better shape.

You're right in that a normal MP cold-calling range shouldn't hit this board, but as you mentioned he's VPIPing 66% overall, so anything goes in that regard.

You're logic is a little off in thinking that folding is a bad option and that you totally disregarded calling. Also, there's no need to isolate at this point in the hand. You just want to call if you have the best hand or raise for value, I'm not sure you're going to make UTG fold a better hand than yours.

Villain with a pot-sized bet on the flushing turn, villain (in my eyes) is repping a boat or a King high flush at the worst. Remember he's potting into 2 players.

Villain could certainly make this play with 7*** and if that's what your read is on him then raising is prob OK since he's obviously playing pretty wild but the other two options of folding and calling both have merit as well.

Not sure if i'm tripping or the hand history messed up in converting but I'm sure it wasn't a diamond on the turn. My thinking might make more sense here. I thought UTG was heavy in a bare 7 for his check/call range and would fold a raise. I also think that MP would take this line with the bare 7 and we would have an equity advantage with overcards + flush draw.

Obviously the flush completing changes this. Looking back on it I quite like folding to be honest. Big part of that is his sizing change form 1/2pot to full pot which tends to mean he's improved and any improvements on this board likely have us in trouble.

If you decide to call this, would you ever fold for the last 45c on the river though?

if we call, it's 22.5bb on the river bet, we're getting good odds but it's really hard for us to have him beat. i guess i'd call given his stats
