OP's thought process is good for the most part, just this bit that made me laugh: "I checked turn for pot control"
Folding turn is just absurd though - yeah, we don't have nuts and could be drawing dead but it's pretty unlikely for reasons OP has pointed out and if we fold now we're just going to get run over.
Hand is played OK - I think shoving turn is a decent option given how unlikely it is for villain to have KJ. (I guess KJTT and KJ99 are only hands that might play this way that might just flat pre) We are a bit deep though and villain prob has a decent amount of equity vs us - would suck to run into the nut straight and be drawing dead.
Also think 3-betting flop is a possibility - we can rep AA here and villain can't really ship flop with 2 pair (or middle/bottom set) and be happy. If he just calls, we can ship on blank turns and expect a lot of folds - or we could hit the turn card anyway. We have 2 BD flush draws though and our hand plays OK as a call for the most part - 2 straight draws aren't to the nuts but the Q one as we established is probably good most of the time.
