It's unlikely he hit T8. It is more likely that he has two pair, a set, pair + fd, or some other holding as opposed to say QJT8 or T98x. If we make an appreciable bet, and he check pots, he is all in or virtually all in, and with 12 nut outs (technically 9 is non nut) (and 2 extra outs against just a set) we will have more than enough to stack off after betting. Bet call is by far the best approach.
