UTG is a complete wack job when i play him.

BTN was playing fairly loose this session..

was i a total idiot thinking he wasnt doing the same thing set mining? I thought he could hold the flush

When he just flats flop and checks turn IP the likelyhood that he has a set goes up for sure. Not just that; but even if he does have a flush you are betting into a dry side-pot into the river after just flatting flop IP yourself. Unless you are turning a Q high flush with some FH blockers into a bluff then you are never bluffing. Thus, the only way you get him to call worse is if he had a flush + 2 pair with the 6 and has a worse FH.

So yeah, to summarise - we should c/f the river.

Yeah otr you never bluffing into an empty sidepot so he can fold easily any flushes and vica versa. +1 ivanovic
Note that you never have any bluffs there so i dont think that any reg will bluff that river.
