Yes, poker is cruel, but some people find it motivating to figure things out on their own, crush and then not share their trade secrets
Most of the advice posted publicly is designed to lure regfish into the games imo, making them think that they've solved the game, because the industry is running out of genuine gamblers and drifting to gamification (i.e. taking money from those who're ready to pay for the aesthetics of the game and/or the thrill of missions and ego wars, rather than the RNG's quirks, though the latter certainly help disguise one's true skill level).
