Can't see anyone beating the games below 50PL without rakeback, eventually they'll just dry up right? As for playing on other networks, lol?

very beatable without rakeback for someone good enough, winning just wont be as nice and moving as you will be missing a good chunk of bonus $$$ each month if you full time grind on stars.

The people it really, really hurts are the players new to PLO who are not going to be winning at 10+bb/100 in micros / might be breaking even pre rakeback or losing and they will be trapped in the micros for a loooong time. (whereas now and with current VIP system you could grind out and learn the game while breaking even and still build a decent roll in the mean time just from rakeback)

Seems like from the chest thread that if you are currently bringing in $75-150 rakeback a month playing micro / lowstakes that might turn into $10-30 ball park on avg. Unless you bink a 1/10k chance to get $1k in a chest (lol)

Also side note in last 40k hands at 10 PLO zoom I have raked 15bb/100 , **** you Amaya for your annual rakeback cut

You have probably read at least 10 - 20 posts of mine in threads specially stating NOT to play micro stakes zoom, if you actually knew better than me in this area you wouldn't actually be making this post about zoom because you wouldn't be playing it in the first place. If I had to take a guess there is probably an 80% or more chance that the next session you play of PLO will be microstakes zoom, you are your own worst enemy if you refuse to change your mindset.

I play reg table sessions too , just find it much harder to focus with reg tables unless I play a lot of tables which leads to the lobby aspect of reg tables which is super annoying having tables close every minute or 2 when 8-10 tabling and having to play a lot of 2-3 handed with super high relative rake. Playing HU at 10 PLO on stars results in both persons stack disappearing if you have auto top off, off in like 50-100 hands. Also I enjoy zoom format + with the constant random seat changes relative to the regs and fish so you have to constantly adapt instead of getting a god seat or ****ty reg table seat (which to shoot down my own point, at 10 PLO any seat you get at reg tables is usually a god seat)

tldr ya I am my own worst enemy but sitting reg tables is super annoying, and yes the avg vpip of 35%+ on reg vs 20-30% on zoom is better
To honour your years of posting about reg tables ill make sure I play a reg table session tonight , hope ur happy

If there ever came a day that I'd have to go back to grinding online games for a living I'd probably quit poker forever and settle on manual labour for the rest of my working life.

Playing regular tables for you might be "annoying" for you now, but then think of how annoying getting nowhere and still playing 10PLO zoom in 2020 will be. All my posts about rake and game selection have been to help out other less experienced players, you should take advice from more experienced players on its merits, not to appease them in any way. I will say though that it is slightly annoying to see the same posts being made all the time about how tough beating the rake at micros is when they are playing formats where the rake has the highest effect on them due to having much lower edges over their average opponents. You will actually pay slightly more in absolute rake at regular tables due to higher VPIPs, but a much lower % of "table winnings" will be raked away. The player paying $20 in rake to win $24 is paying much less rake than the one paying $18 to win $10.

I mean, you probably can't beat the games anyway so it's not much of an option. That's like me saying I'd rather do manual labor than be a male model.

It might be because I stopped playing there. It also happened in my regular easy site when I stopped for one year -- the plo games are now practically non existent there. But I think tourneys (NLHE) are still good at least where I am playing (I bet you would like to know, but I cant leak a secret). Had to move to tourneys, as I cant find any beatable plo tables anywhere.

Even 50PLO is pretty ****ing gay, rake wise. I'm just a loser degen now, but used to play semi profesionally, and the rake is killer. Been looking for all sorts of threads on it. But hooray to chests and spins amirite?!
