9max: PL Ferra Hi/Low 1-2: 900BB+ pot , EZ game? \PICS INCLUDED
So it’s a live 9 handed 1-2PL dealer choice Hi/Low game, most of the players plays Low game, but not actually very good in it.
There is one blind – on the button.
The game is Ferra 5 Hi/Low (8 qualifer) (i don’t know whether you know this game, so the rules are:
every player dealt 5 cards and may see ONE card before he commit any part of his stack preflop (except blinds). then the game is just like the standart Hi/Low but there is 5 betting round (every street opens just one card).
So for example it may looks like:
PREFLOP: A

FLOP: 2

THIRD STR: 9

TURN: T

RIVER: T

so basically 5 betting rounds (Pot limited)
involved players:
SB: 250
BB: (main villain): 620
UTG+1: 240
MP: 220
MP+1 (HERO): 810
BB – rather good player in Low game, but not something exceptional. Probably aggressive with any nuts, or good drawing to nuts hand, nothing else i may say about him. Other players are newbies and rather bad, except SB who is very competent in Low game.
PREFLOP:
2

HERO DEALT:
BUTTON posts 2$
SB calls 2$
BB calls 2$
UTG+1 calls 2$
HERO calls 2$
SB raises to 10$
all calls
Not very good flop, but i decided to call cause even two picked-up pairs may play good here and i have low and flush potential.
FLOP:
6

SB bets to 50$
all calls
well, i’ve just picked up another backdoor flush and backdoor my low may still be good or improve? i dunno, probably i should folded but with so many action before pot odds are too sweet to fold
Main question goes here:
THIRD STREET:
SB bets 190
all calls
HERO -??
so i have a FD here, backdoor NFD, straight draw and second nuts low. since BB just called on the flop, i put him on some good hand, but not exceptional (he might have nuts low here to trap another, though?). I decided to push it since i had a TONS of equity and even may push out this villain to play perfect with so much dead money involved. do you like it?
