Why did you reraise preflop?

?? why not?

villain was very weak post-flop, esp. in 3bet pots. for the most part, he loved calling my 3bets and folding the flop.

This is the most important reason by far for reraising in HU PLO, imo. I just assumed that if he played like he did in that hand then he wouldn't be folding many flops at all to CBets.

That hand was near the end of our session. I had been 3betting him fairly relentlylessly, and he started to play back a bit.

But I noticed previously in a 3bet pot that when he floated the flop and turned a strong hand, he bet fairly small. So when he floats a drawy flop, and makes a fairly large bet (for his standards) on a relatively blank turn, his line did not seem consistent with his history of playing big hands, which is why I shoved.

Against a good player, I prob. don't do this too often, but he was obv bad, and there against bad players, there is def. much more merit to following repetitive tedencies i would think.

I've been playin PLO for a few months now and have gotten some good coaching from Grizy. I've been lurkin alot and have now gotten the urge to post...a badbeat yes! lol. I'm on board the downswing crew...currently going thru a 14 downswong right now...and it suxxxxxxxxxx
