It's always easier to put in a longer session when you're down on a session imo

Still a sick session ofc
Nice graphs @ankimo and @trueheart

just always seems like my really long sessions are typically disasters. for me, it seems like it's tough for me to play my A game if I'm stuck anymore than like 5 buyins.

yeah, as was I. having a stoploss and actually having the discipline to stick to the stoploss are different monsters for me.

the last few weeks I've definitely been more objective about things vs going on ragetilt and having very clouded judgements.

it's literally like lighting money on fire.

Yeah same, didn't mean I'd still be playing well, I'd just still be playing Hence why I stop every 50minutes now and reevaluate my state of mind before playing more

I always thought you were a boss and hated see you in the HU lobby at 50. I always thought to myself "why doesn't this fkr move up??!?" I actually wanted to offer you staking so you could move up as you should have long time ago. Glad things are going good for you.

Sums up my poker career prior to Black Friday. Crushed 200fr, never moved up. Played 400 on a stake for 10-20k hands and crushed but for no reason thought these "real pros" were way better. Also had a stake for like 6 months up to $1k, never played $1k and only like 20 hands at $600 where i won a stack.

I'll say too that I didn't like him at my $100 or $200fr tables back in the good ole days.

Comfort zone combined with a bad money management/spending habit blocked moving up.
@ iso, i played 100 full ring nl and some 200 pre BF at FTP but not sure if you mean me, played like only 5k hands at 200nl and then bf happened.

I had you confused with another Johny then. I rarely played at ftp because I hated the software. Even playing at ftp caused me to punt off money because the software literally tilted me. Games were vg though.

Seaking, you recently posted about the rake at PLO games. IIRC, something about 50 level absurd and to skip from 25-100 if possible. Link to post please? I can't find it.

Intuitively, I think $25 rake is the worst. Maybe I'm wrong but the rake rarely caps while getting stacks in gets it near the cap. At least getting stacks in at $50 caps rake at a point. I think skipping $100 and going $50-$200 is probably best tbh.

Plo25 is pure raketrap if you moving up from 10s just play 50..

I think that *whatever limit one has issues beating* is the one they look at as a rake trap. People win at plo10, break even at plo25, and say "just jump from 10 to 50, 25 is a rake trap". People win at plo50, break even at plo100, and say "just jump from 50 to 200, 100 is a rake trap" etc etc etc

No offense to you discussing this. In my eyes every stake at stars is a rake trap
