In fact, our bodies have not really adapted to the low grade energy in fruits and vegetables. For most of man's existence we lived primarily off of animals, during say the Paleolithic era. That is the best fuel for man, creatures, and in particular herbivores. Mostly cow.
Why do I need to eat vegetables or fruits?
this is so f misguided.
whatever broscience weightlifter you learned this from has a basic misunderstanding of of every aspect of what you've said here. especially wrt insulin and what causes insulin spikes.
your post is the same bogus reasoning that makes some people think chocolate bars and apples are interchangeable because of similar amounts of sugar, totally ignoring the many many other important factors.
if you are insulin resistant, please do more research on what foods cause problems for you, because you're just begging for life-shortening problems atm.
and by research, i mean medical research, not bro's accounting 2nd hand info based on what they've heard from wherever.
