Really like it, I really enjoy HU but every time I've tried to play for the past few years just don't get any action - not cos I'm brilliant, just cos all the LOL regs only play huge whales or hit and run me.

Obv not quite the same as playing a match vs one opponent but hope it lasts.

Haha.. It's good there is action on both zoom and regulars tables then, so everybody can be happy

-limit entry to 2tbls per limit
-get rid off standard tbls
-for ppl who want battle at multiple tbls,or vs a dedicated opponent....
give them possibility to opent tbls....(but limit waiting time to 2min)

I'm a recreational but winning PLO player. I downloaded PS two days ago just to try the HU Zoom. I have to say I really enjoyed it. I prefer HU as I'm an action junkie and tend to play too many hands pre in 6 max... But I can never be bothered to wait around for a game so usually just end up joining good regs tables for action (bad/mediocre regs won't play me). This new game not only gives me the action I crave but also gives me a wide variety of different players to play with, including very good players and some mega fish. This is how online poker should be imo.

Verdict - Thumbs up PS.

The player pool at 50 and 100 was reasonable, but the higher games weren't running when I saw. Hopefully more players find this and take a liking to it as I think it is a really good way to go to encourage more recs.

Don't you get really deep playing zoom? No 1000bb hands to post anyone?

seems like 1/2 and 2/5 are pretty reg infested

that can't be a surprise, surely?

1/2 and 2/5 rarely run with more than just 3 or 4 players, all regs. But yeah, no surprises there.

playing these games regularly, seems like quite a nice format for now.

I have been able to put in so much more volume, and regs that sit are actually willing to give action, so instead of having so sit everyone in lobby you can just play the one sitting in the zoom lobby. Smaller player pool are actually alot better I feel.

I only see action @ .25/.50, only a handful of players playing anything else... And if u can get action from 2 or 3 players in zoom, you may as well sit in regular format games. I don't think zoom has solved any bum hunters at plo hu.

I assure you that I have put alot more volume at 1/2 than I could of ever done any other way.

I like this format, played a couple days but will quit because I am terribly underrolled for this game.

Won a huge 1000bb pot, but can't post because I play on my iPhone.

What is the difference compared to standard tables pre flop wise?

And is the rake different to std tables?

Say I am folding x% pf on normal tables, how would I adjust to this game? My thinking is opponents are going to play a tighter range pf and fold more often then they would on normal tables, so maybe I should adjust this way also, but I think this might be a flaw itself, because just because they are making this mistake doesn't mean I should follow and do the same if that makes any sense?
