1) id cbet larger on the flop or bet small / call off if i think he is sapstic enough - having the BD fd is actualy a factor us blocking the 3 also

- as played - betting or checking river depends on reads, there is a good chance you will get value from KK QQ JJ so betting small cant be bad



2) well sucks but can a math guy confirm that we have the odds to call? seems for me that folding is wrong

you need 35% pot odds i think to call and you have ~25% so mathematically its a fold, but i am always calling in this spot. Hand 1 is standard, but i prefer a smaller bet to checking, a lot of bluffs could work so better to protect with a bet imo.

you are about a 3:1 or 3.5:1 to one dog against a straight. You are getting 2.5:1. You might as well bluff diamonds too, just for fun.

I have to call 2nd hand, I have 25% vs str8(simulating odds oracle)
I need to put only 28% of the pot
sometimes I will be far ahead

Can hand 2 ever be a check call turn? In respect to the fact that we get worse sets to Bluff. Even check raising?

I think the technical term is 'value cut'.
