I was wondering if my turn c/r (and R follow through) was a bit optimistic or could this be a profitable play after all?

BB seem TAG 24/19 agg 2.4 but i only had 25 hands on him and no other history.

I bet 1/2 pot on the river as i would with 97 or T9 vs villains 'missed' flush draws, is that ok?

I assume that there is a very low chance that villain turns a missed fd or a set into a bluff and i have A high only so no calling.

river is fine once you get there this way, but turn c/r is waaay too optimistic, unless you have a strong read that BB likes to take stabs when no one shows aggression multiway. Even then, I would prefer to do it with some equity.

Turn is strange. I mean, how often do you actually cr the straight there instead of leading out (or even check/calling) when you do have 79xx? Whatever I have as BB there I'm going to be like "lolwtff is going on" when you do this.

An issue is also the amount of BB's hand combos that will call and draw simply because they have good odds vs the made straight (all different combos of wraps, sets, flush draws, twopair+fd, etc) which means you can't really bluff like half the deck on the river.

    River bet is fine ldo.

Yeah pretty much what Loctus said. You're better off just pot/potting if you wanna try win the pot but even then your hand is probably slightly too weak and your relative position isn't ideal either.

Ok thanks guys, its quiet clear now.
When playing i felt that there was a lots of stabbing going on as everybody folds too much these days at zoom.
I thought BB is just giving it a go after Button checked the flop and he might give up without much thought to a c/r - this however was not the ideal spot to do so.

Going through a downswing and getting to a point where I question even the most basic plays so thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it...
