I think I f'ed this hand up pretty bad. I realize this is a trivial jam on the flop for must of you. Perhaps I play these types of hands too cautiously on potential flush draw flops.
Just yesterday I was in a similar spot with JJ98 on the button, 3 way flop T72, goes bet, pot, and I cold jammed. 1st guy had aces with the nut flush draw, 2nd guy had TT. I reviewed the hand and turns out I was in pretty bad shape, only had 25% on the flop.
In this hand, I had a few more outs, but it's a similar situation. Perhaps the knowledge from that hand made me play this hand too cautiously, wrongfully so.
Im guessing the best line would have been to check/jam when it comes around the first time. But as played, when UTG jams and other guy goes, is folding an option or do I have to go? Does anyone fold due to the dirty outs? It feels like a standard set vs. flush draw situation, in which case I'm only 28%(similar to the previous hand).
Opinions appreciated.
