PLO50, flop spot in 3bet pot

V seems like a aggro reg, playing 36/33/14/AF-2 (36 hands)
He was cbetting almost in every 3bet pot to that sizing.

I play 52/40/20/AF-3.

Do you get it in otf?
Or calling and reeval-ing IP is better?

PartyGaming - $0.50 PL Hi (6 max) - Omaha - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

BTN: $88.32
SB: $93.36
BB: $50.00
UTG: $9.25
MP: $65.14
Hero (CO): $171.03

SB posts SB $0.25, BB posts BB $0.50

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero has K 9 J 9

fold, fold, Hero raises to $1.50, fold, SB raises to $5.00, fold, Hero calls $3.50

Flop: ($10.50, 2 players) T 2 Q
SB bets $7.48, Hero....

I had a lot of equity, but if I raise/get it in my draws can often be dominated.

Re: PLO50, flop spot in 3bet pot

I'm guessing you should have posted this in the BBV thread... Raising flop quite a lot better than calling - I like just clicking it back to about $20 - $22. I really don't want him to fold.

Well we're in position, so you can call, but I prob couldn't help myself to raise pot and shove every turn.

Villain is aggro enough to have lots of draws that don't dominate us in his range, cold call could give our hand away, happy to raise here & start building the pot

Re: PLO50, flop spot in 3bet pot

I mean for me (as a holdem player) it`s an easy spot in holdem (w/ KJs).

But in Omaha I thought it`s a bit more complicated.

One point for me was that he could cbet w complete air like 6543 and probably would barrel until I raise him.

Another one is that he wasn`t very good and would probably stack off otf with wider range of hands than overpairs//set + NFD (nut straight draws).

So I decided to flat being simply afraid of making him play perfect with hand like (QQAcXc, AcAxXc* -- understanding it`s very little part of his 3betting range).

Calling not awful, especially if villain type to keep barrelling. Will be shoving 100% of turns tho.

What happened on turn then?

Click the high five button

But yeah I think I raise here to build up a pot and even take it down on turns that blank....raise to about 20 seems bout right...it should give a few more options than if you just call. Although I do agree calling has it merits vs the right opponent
