Assuming it's not a total cancer flop, you must auto-stack. You don't want to give free cards to one pair hands that can draw out on you and you're rarely in horrible shape

An argument can be made for a small bet if you have hands in your range that would fold to a jam, but I don't think you'll have much of those on a Q9x board.

I would bet like a dollar that way he has more incentive to call then shove on the flop and on blank turn id shove. If he shoves flop I think i still call here there is more chance of bluff shove on smaller bet but I want to give him incentive to cal land shove a blank turn so i would bet like 1/3 if he shoves fine we call. But when you pot it and he jams your pretty much screwed and hands that miss that flop or dont hit hard can easily fold. But if you play this kind of style you also have to bet 1 dollar when you have top set so they can't pick up on your sizing as tells. And when you bluff and they fold you get to take down the pot cheap.

If you only 4B with Aces you put yourself in a tough spot when the flop doesn't go your way because your hand is face up to everyone at the table.

In any case the Villain just decided to gamble because his hand is trash vs your perceived range.

He just got lucky. It happens.

The SPR is 1.1, the entire point of 4betting is so you don't have to play postflop oop with 1 pair. You're going to get called by the top whatever % of his range, some of it you are doing well against, some of it you are crushed against some of it you're flipping with but who cares thats poker. He obliged our plan and now we follow through with our plan.
