Villain is an unknown. Hows my line in this hand? Could I better c/jam the turn? I dont see villain fold any of his sets/2 pair kinda combos with gutshots or little wraps.

difficult spot, not sure whether to cbet or not, its not super bad flop but its pretty wet as well, and if called on flop then a there's many bad turns

then again check calling flop puts us in tough spots on turn as well

i think in game i would cbet and check call turn

Obviously pre is fine. Flop is also fine. I dont like the sizing on the turn after that scary card hits. Betting 3/4 pot doesn't really accomplish anything, if he's got a read on you and puts you on AA he can c/raise bluff any 4 cards on the turn and put you in an extremely tough spot like he has here. If he made his hand he's also almost always check raising on a double suited board. However If you check he either checks back his K> high spade draws/weak 2 pairs or he bets out with a range that ALSO includes hands with less equity and you can feel good about calling with AA and nut flush draw. you can also feel good about drawing to your flush against his made hand when he bets out and gives you the odds. With a c/call line you can also think about c/raise bluffing some rivers too.

That card isn't really scary at all, esp vs a MP range. It's a great card for us and we are way ahead of his range. I usually just keep betting for value here, unless villain is going to stab a lot when checked to (which a competent player will def do on this board)

which i think is a mistake. def too many are doing it though, so +1 to c/shove (which i think you are implying)

I agree with ph33rox that part of his lower equity range that he is stabbing with gives you the opportunity to c/shove

basically in a vaccuum I think checking is the superior play and you can take whatever line from there

Yea, I do agree it's a mistake to stab wide here in villain's shoes. You just don't have enough 87/84/56 combos in your range to allow it when you open from MP

The 4d that comes on the turn completes the obvious str8 draw(one of the obvious str8 draws actually) but thats about it,i dont think we should get paranoid about villain having that draw in his range too much, considering his EP open,so prolly some combo of 89Tx plus picked up FD(which you dominate) is what he s more likely to have imo.

Cbetting flop and bet/calling shove on turn seems the right play.

I bet-gii this turn, expecting him to try rep this with his other draws enough of the time for me to feel happy about it. 65 isn't a big part of his range.

turn is bad card 4 us cuz lot of straights get there.i dont think he had wrap on flop cuz he is most likly 2 raise.i think r best play is check call the turn, and see what come on river.when u bet turn this big and he raise he put us on very tought spot..i am not plo specialist tho
