Player is 20/15. no other read.
I am around 40% vs sets, wraps, j7, and some combo draws,.
So I am right to hate getting c/r ed here with this spr?
I thought about checking here with the intention of c/r ing but I didn't want to offer a free card to a wrap draw or pair of 7s.

Fold are shove are really the only two options here.

I think both folding and shoving are viable options, but with the crap sometimes people show up with at this stake wraps, bare nfd, two pair (with no fd), etc. I don't think i'm folding and play it the same, although I'm not super happy about getting it in.

    Easy get it in.

Btw, explain me why you thought about checking to c/r when you're in position in HU...

It's like the easiest bet/call ever.
If you can't bet call comfortably then you probably bet way not enough ...

Something worth considering for the future is, if you have a good enough sample size, if his stats show him as positionally aware. If he is 20/15 and positionally aware he might have a very narrow UTG raising range that will NOT include almost any sets on this board. I play about 20/15 with low UTG raise and I for sure would almost never have a set here (unless freak hands like 7788ds, KKJJ, etc).. Just something worth thinkign about.

    I don't think you can b/f fwiw..

I agree, there aren't too many sets in his range, and you dominate (60/40) the rest of his range.

I'd be super happy to get this hand in. I'd be pretty unhappy if he called, and potted maybe 80% of the cards.
