[PLO25 - HU] AA flopping straight [PLO25 - HU] AA flopping straight

HU PLO is definitely not my game, and 25 is not what i normally play.
I saw this player sitting in a HU table and since i never saw him before felt I could have a shot.

This hand happened in a 3bet pot and i wanted to know your opinion, am i spewing money or just being unlucky?

I have been destroyed in this HU short session for about 4BI and i was really curious if my moves were fishy or it's variance at its best.
Thanks to everyone as always

Looks pretty standard to me, just a bit of variance.

Yuck. Curious though, after the first hand did you GII on the second just because you didn't think he had the higher str8 again? Villain bet the pot on flop and turn. usually that's the nuts in PLO25.

I mean one unlikely combo beats you in the first hand, the second hand I prefer betting

Protip: They're rarely bluffing (except the lags and maniacs). It's only a question of what value hands they consider the nuts, and if your hand beats the majority of that range. I see most villains just calling with sets on the second flop so I prefer betting and probably folding

gotcha.
and thanks man, appreciated the protip!
i'll try to build an appropriate roll before playing HU PLO again, and maybe a bit of theory will help too.

HU it varies slightly Im sure, but in 6m almost all lines are heavily underbluffed.

if you fold any of these in 3bet pots what are you going to call with? think about that
