Reads:

The BB is a nit
The UTG player is an active reg that likes to put pressure, calls 3bets very often with single suited hands because he knows people tend to get married to AA and tries to either outflop or take the pot away later.

Stacksizes:

PLO25 table ; 5 handed

UTG (active reg): 400 bb
MP: 90 bb
BTN (me): 220 bb
SB: 100 bb
BB (the nit): 40 bb

The hand:

UTG opens 0.85, MP calls 0.85, I call 0.85 with 4867, SB calls 0.85, BB pots to 5.10, UTG calls 5.10, MP calls 5.10, I call 5.10, SB calls 5.10.

I called because of pot odds and the fact that the whole table is floating the clear AA from the BB.

Flop (pot 25 euro, i have 50 euro behind): 45K

UTG donks pot, MP shuvs for the remainder of his stack, I shuv, SB folds, BB folds, UTG calls.

Thoughts? I don't have much experience playing deepstacked. Should our reasoning be more like "we get good odds, ship it" or more like "we only invested 5 euro and this sh*t's going multiway, best get out while we can".

I will sheepishly agree to making this move often too.

The real question/answer: how many CLEAN outs for an OESD on this board in a 3-way pot.

Quote:
we get good odds, ship it
- Odds infer that there is a good chance of winning while taking into account for reverse-implied odds (making our hand but still losing).

Drawing to a straight on a two tone flop is always kind of bad. However you are drawing to the nut straight and you probably can expect that there is more than one player with a flush draw making the flush harder to hit by a fair margin. Plus you have a weak bd flushdraw adding some small equity.

But its a lot of bb's on a very slim edge at best. So its kind of up to if you want high variance or not.

Personally I would x-fold. I am never ahead of anything that want to get it in. Would probably jam if in last position and checked to.

Thanks for the advice

Just saw Shuller_A1t discuss a hand that was very similar to this one and he confirms it: "this is a pretty tricky spot (..) if this guy shoves and this guy shoves, it's.. I think I can't find a fold, it's close, like it all depends on whether one of them has clubs (..) if neither of them have clubs our equity is great but if one of them has clubs our equity goes down the drain pretty much, we'd be getting it in with 20% at best".

I think this is a fold. It is very common that between the 3bettor and the non 3bettor someone has a diamond draw

Speaking from experience of calling it off in such spots several times our equity is almost always horrible here. You can run different ranges in PPT to see how you do but as long as your opponents are competent and stacking off a reasonable range you never have good equity here. I fold in such spots nowadays.
