Hey guys just a quick check up, hope my thinking isnt too far off/overcomplicated. No info on villain although im pretty sure he's active on this forum.

I think a pretty big part of his 3bet range should be AAxx and KKxx/AKKx, which he is pretty likely to bluff with on the river after double barreling already. Also if he has 2p or a set I think he would/should not bet otr but try to show down? That would leave him with a river betting range of bluffs (AA,KK,missed draws) and some completed draws (pretty much J98x,AA98 etc)

Is my thinking correct, and am i correct in calling river/playing the entire hand like I did?
    Thanks

No way that he is checking river with 2pair+, you miss a ton on value that way.

Betting 3 streets with any overpair hand seems weird to me, but then again you only called turn so it makes sense since your range is only weak 2 pair and draws now.

As played you have to call, 7 is a blank. With the pot ratio wluld you ever fold any river? I dont thinknso, so raise all n on turn.

We have to shove turn imo and hope our hand is good.

Seeing the hand villains line makes sense though I don't like villains rivershove

As played I think you made the right call though my money would be in on the turn.

Given that there is only 1/2 psb left and only a minor draw made I think villain would shove all his 2 pair/ set on the river.

Shove the turn. I call river and expect to lose most of the time but pot odds. Flop call is close but pretty optimistic, guess with 2 bd we have to call

Given your standard villain's 3bet range hits the flop pretty hard I think it's far too optimistic to make the float, although it's nice to keep that in your game to potentially make some moves on turns such as those you pick up flush draws on and such.

Villain is repping strong range and your flop float leaves you in a tough spot with a marginal made hand with the SPR leaving you committed to nearly any brick river.

I honestly don't see villain betting 3 streets with KK/ AA as it's reasonable to assume that we end up OTR with nothing given all draws bricked (which he should check and give you a chance to bluff) or 2p minimum as we shouldn't be calling down with say Qxxx for example. Which would mean he is always value betting better here or has some bluffs in his range. Might have to run a PJ sim to see what ratio of bluffs he has to vbets here.

tl;dr marginal flop float compounded into you (I assume) losing your stack to what I think is a range with more value than bluffs (run in PJ to confirm).
