Lots of poker is based on intuitive opinion - we shouldn't ignore it just because it's quite hard to prove the Maths behind the decision.

I just looked at PPT and KKT7ds has almost a 3.5% better equity than the single suited at 40.39% vs the range of 12% and 3%-30%... that does make me more inclined to just go ahead and 4bet it.
However, whilst it might be more profitable to 4-bet the stronger hand it's also more profitable to flat with the stronger hand. KKT7ds is going to do better for you post-flop than KKT7ss. So if we know KKT7ss is going to be a profitable 4bet and we might not realise our equity (or make mistakes) when we flat, then 4-betting makes way more sense than flatting.
