Villain in the hand is a regular. I would not call him straight out bad but he is definitely spewy a bit when it comes stacking off on flops and turns. He runs at 22/16 with an 8% 3bet, his aggression is 35% and (37,38,24 on F,T,R) over 4k hands.
We tangled some and I think he views me as see him (goodish/badish TAG).
Earlier the same day we played this hand: I raise with KKJT:dd, he 3bets, I 4bet. On the 975 flop we have 2/3 pot effective stack I push he calls with KQ89:ss.

Then this hand comes up:

IPoker, $0.10/$0.20 Pot Limit Omaha Cash, 5 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite. View Hand #32693712

    BB: $118.64 (593.2 bb)
    MP: $5 (25 bb)
    CO: $7.80 (39 bb)
    Hero (BTN): $75.96 (379.8 bb)
    SB: $25.71 (128.5 bb)

    Preflop: Hero is BTN with 9 T 9 7
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.60, SB folds, BB raises to $1.90, Hero calls $1.30

    Flop: ($3.90) 4 9 7 (2 players)
BB bets $2.73, Hero raises to $9.20, BB calls $6.47

    Turn: ($22.30) 8 (2 players)
    BB checks, Hero checks

    River: ($22.30) J (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $12, BB raises to $42.20, Hero ???

uh, well i'm not folding unless I know villain is capable of raising JT as well as QT here.

i'de rather bet the turn instead of the river...
he is never calling the river with a worse hand.

He might have had you, however, since QT is such a small % of your range and that you bet small I think he bluffs QQ and TT blockers enough to make it profitable considering he is aggressive. I understand your hesitance to bet turn as he likely jams multi draws and any straight. You have to think he can't be calling with QT on that flop very often. I'm guessing he had QQ89 or TTJJ

prefer i bigger bet on river so we polarise a bit more, river really depends on game flow, probs call it off, but what does he have on flop QQ810dbl suited? thats what were hoping for

That's the opposite of what we're hoping for

He doesn't need QQ/TT to bluff river

I think this is a fold for some reasons.
    1. Easy spot to c/r with QT to get value from nun-not straights.
    2. Your range is not capped (we can´t assume a plo20 player knows that but his instincts might know that)
    3. He might be doing this with blockers, but a lot of his TT blockers has a queen on it and lots of his QQ have a ten.

Hey guys thanks for all the replies!

Unfortunately in play i folded, partly because my time-bank was running down, maybe with a bit more time i would have talked myself into a call.

When i bet the river i expected a fold 90% of the time. (now as i type this i looked it up and he c/r-ed 2 out of 25 times on the river) I thought i might get a crying call from lower straights, some random sets (like KK44) and maybe other random bluff catchers.

Then he went for such a big (200bb) c/r and I felt he could have bluffed much cheaper so he has to have it ... Another reason for folding was that i showed strength on flop and the board ran out in favor of my perceived range so again he has to have it and is less likely to bluff.

But then again he probably would go for value with the same hand that I had and that makes it a call.

if he has QQ hes bluffing full pot I imagine, also c/r bluffing this river is better than leading out, as you'll call with alot str8s

So much of his QT is folding on flop though, hero doesn't have much QT on flop, QJt8 is raising turn.

This is trivial call imo, and also a good bluff by villain if people are actually folding here.

Its 150 **** bbs tho, kind of annyoing, but at least you didn't get 1 outerd for more on turn

With TQ he doesn't need much to call this deep.

If either of his cards are an 8, a J or even a 9 he probably peels one off at these stakes.

And people talking about him using blockers and stuff I just find weird. It's PLO20. He is like 'omg i has teh nuts, im gonna check because checking is always the best play when you have the nuts, and then spring my cunning trap'.

Don't think its good to be calling flop with just a GS. Need a lot of implied odds to make it worthwhile OOP. QT is very thin IMO, there are a huge amount of more likely combos. The T blocker reduces his QT by 25~% or some thing aswell.

Interestingly on ipoker at PLO20 half(or more) of the players are regs who have at least some plo knowledge and are members here and other forums.
I am not saying that they are good or crushing but they know the basics. Unfortunately I am one of them, lol.
