5 handed, I'm SB with ATA7
utg folds, CO raises to 0,30, BU folds, I call, BB calls
flop: KT4
i check, BB checks, MP bets 0,70, i call, BB folds
turn: 5
i check, MP bets 2,30, i fold

no reads. should I 3bet pre OOP? checkraise or lead somewhere?
villain bet pretty quickly OTF and OTT which might mean something?

If you are folding on that turn, then just fold flop.

Seriously, I like just flatting pre because every PLO10 player is going to put you on aces when you 3 bet.

On the flop maybe bet out small trying to get him to raise, and then jam it. Or at least check raise him. The only hand I can imagine that you are behind is KK.

How does the turn change anything? Seems like the best card you could hope for that doesn't improve your hand.

*Disclaimer: I am a PLO8 player trying to move into PLO, so if I am being an idiot, feel free to tell me! (I am sure you guys would anyway).

this doesnt matter, there not gonna make it hard for you post, they'll play mostly honest poker, and when we do hit a flop like this we want the SPR to be small so they gii suuuper bad

Really need to know player stack depths hero, should be mandatory for posting a HH imo. I'm 3-betting this all day pre tho for what it's worth.

Totally agree with this line of thinking, we need to be pushing this equity edges pre b/c these idiots don't fold pre and will stack off much too light when we do smash a flop.

As played you have enough equity and implied odds against MP's range to continue on the turn. It's not really close because he could be barreling hands like KQJ that you're a big favorite against, and even against KT you have 35% which is more than enough to call just for your immediate equity against his range.

On top of that, most of your equity comes from nutty outs, so on 11 rivers you have a hand that can either lead or check-raise for value, which is a very big difference from having decent equity against his range with a bluffcatcher that can't improve. Don't get into the habit of putting people on a set because they bet twice, even if the first bet was 3-way. I am convinced that most of his betting range on the flop is betting on this particular turn, so we don't have much new information about his range because of the turn bet. And clearly you don't think he's cbetting the flop with KT+.

You have to 3b this preflop always unless BB is a ******ed monkey and will 3b for you.... AT T7 and suit = very strong aces.

This notion of 3bing only a certain % of the time, no, always 3b it but you create balance through betsizing, which is not pot and giving you a wider preflop 3b range.

Flop, info on stacksizes would be useful, assuming 100bb I think call is better to encourage multiway action. Raising is fine too.

Don't fold turn. I don't mind shoving, as the turn is fairly brickish and you called your overpair with the 2 pair blocker will be good alot of the time + you have decent equity vs everything.
