I wont have excessive amounts of free time due to university. But I have dabbled in PLO recently and want to improve so if anyone was interested in a studygroup particularly anyone in Australia (I don't mind overseas though!) I would be down for that

Re: PLO study groups

Hey all!

I am totally new to this forum. My first post should also confirm this :P

For the last half hour I have been reading this forum and will continue reading this the next couple of days. I would like to start/join (do not mind which) a study group as well. I have been playing NL HE for a while but the last couple of months getting into PLO. I am not experienced (only played around 1000 hands of PLO in total), but I am very committed to learn the ins and outs and discuss strategies with other players.

I am from the Netherlands, speak ok english, have plenty of time (couple of hours per day should be achievable), good in math and very committed!
I hope I can form a group with some other people who are like me committed, like to learn and discuss hands and form some good strategies.

Would like to play the 0,05-0,10 or 0,10-0,25 blinds to start with, have control over that level and from there move upwards.

PM me if you are interested!

Just starting out at plo, playing 5plo-25plo on Bovada. Don't get a ton of volume in due to being new to the game (and also I play mtts).. but on skype a ton and willing to be active.

Re: PLO study groups

Sup dudes?

New PLO player here. I've mainly played $200NL live and am in the green, but, in the red for online play: In which I've been at 25NL on down. Typically playing SNG's or MTT tournaments, though.

Recently PLO has caught my eye and I would like to get down and dirty with it. I'm definitely interested in a serious, smallish group that is willing to do homework on the subject.

Re: PLO study groups

played poker since 08, for my only income since 09.
played plo cash and mtts tx/plo/o8 , and stg headsups plo8.
+1.5k mtts
over 1.5m hands plo cashgames stakes between 10 - > 100.
have had kinda low volume year to this point and just now i started to play in pokerstars again, mainly because few smaller sites have allmost dryed out.

im pretty interested to play 50bb deep zoom(mainly because i have found out that even regs with deeps stacks dont adjust to it), allso 100bb deep.
would be nice to talk about ranges and lines agaist diffenrent type of opponents etc.
i think im pretty lag ~~5bb/100h player in plo25(need to play thighter now in zoom), but i would like to get better, it feels like i have played so much hands and i have seen everything but i know i could be so much better if someone could make me think differently in some spots. autopilot is kinda curse to me nowadays.

short term plan is to put some volume in plo25 for now, see if it goes well i can jump to 50 pretty soon.
for next year plan is to get supernova + beat zoom100

skype, mad4river

and im from finland. since i dont do much else and my sleeping rythm is f**kd, i will probably be online allmost allways.
