My info: I graduated college in May and had a PGC playing from PLO2-PLO25 during my last year of school. You can see it here: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/17...plo25-1453935/
Thread ended on a downswing and I generally found I did best when not sharing results with everyone in the poker world lol, etc.

In July this year I quit playing poker completely. Was jumping between PLO25-50 whole May-July. But yeah I started grad school in Sep since I thought it was the right life decision (most of July-Sep was focused on just quickly applying to grad programs I guess). Ultimately I hated it and dropped out before the deadline to early withdraw without repercussion was up in Oct lol. For the past month I been trying to figure out what I wanted to do. And a couple weeks ago I decided I'd go forth with my original plan last year of taking a "gap year" of trying to make it in poker. I fooled around with different formats, gave MTTs, spins and NLHE a try. But I'm pretty sure I want to go back to PLO now, it's what I enjoy most and also what I have most experience with.

I'll focus less on rakeback grinding now tho (was like a 1bb winner before), and actually focus on decisionmaking/thoughtprocess and improving. I think this is necessary for next years changes to VIP rewards.

I'm looking for a serious study group with either fulltime grinders or people who are serious about poker and have aspirations of going pro. If we could arrange to talk once a week with some interesting topics that'd be great.

I'm interested in sweat sessions, discussing hands/strat and I would love to learn how to use pokerjuice since I just got the software and have never used it before. I have RIO essential membership and have watched every single PLO essential video in the library, I've also watched all DC and CR videos until early this year, and I'll get RIO elite soon enough I'm sure.

I'm not looking for a group that just talks BBV and shows graphs all day everyday.

I'm jumping right back into PLO25 starting like uh now... I'll go back to zoom, but as I said, less tables. I'll be 2-tabling (rather than 4) but I estimate I'll still be able to get 50k hands/month. I'll warn that I am quite rusty right now altho optimistic and confident as always.

PM me if interested, even if you see this like a month after this post lol...

I'm looking for people who want to study the game by doing a lot of work outside of the tables. I'm not looking for people who just want to grind and discuss hands "casually" via Skype.

I believe in efficiency and I don't think a study group should take too much of the player's time, therefore the format I plan is:
#. Open a dedicated forum for the group.
1. Have a sub-forum for the current learning material we study. In this sub-forum have topic for each chapter/episode, where we discuss it and exchange notes.
2. Have sub-forum for hand history discussion. Each member should be posting ONLY 1 hand per day, and everyone is obligated to participate in all of the discussions. The nature of the discussion is analytic using Odds Oracle and Excel. Such analysis takes time, which is the reason for only one hand per player per day.
3. To add to #2, we will have a "quick hand review" thread to post hands for "casual" review. Unlike #2, this is a place to get a quick "i think you are right"/"I think you are wrong" responds.
4. When the conditions will be right, we will hire a coach for weekly group coaching. You should be willing to pay 30$-50$ each week for a coaching.

The material I plan to study is(at the initial phase at least) :
-Strategy: Hwang's first book, "2x6" series(at DC), Hwang's second book, "PLO from scratch"(at Donkr), "MONOPLOLY" series(at DC), "Return of the G: Episode One"(at DC).
-Poker math: "Poker Math That Matters" by Owen Gaines, "PLO BY NUMBERS" (at DC).
-Odds Oracle: Site tutorials, other articles, "Applied PLO Math" (at DC).
(*I think this should give a solid foundations. If you think we should learn different material, it is open for discussion of course.)

I don't care about the limit you play - as long as you are hard worker and dedicated, want to study the same material and can have at least 4-5 hours of poker each day(split between play, study, and review. Both as a group and alone). Of course you should be willing to buy relevant material and softwares, and be willing to pay weekly for a coach.
PM me if you are interested...
magx, do you still have the group? Would it be possible to join you?

Main game is PLO25 but I've got decent experience playing PLO10&50. I don't play full time but I'm willing to put a lot of work in to get better.

Looking for a study group with people who are serious about improving and willing to put work into going over HH's and theory.

Hey Vilain, I'm interested, I'm relatively new to Omaha myself but have been playing NLHE for a long time, I can't send you a pm because of forum rules, but if you contact a Mod I think they can change it. Here is reason.

Interested in low/mid stakes study group, PLO50-PLO600.

just want to bounce around occasional hand and some ideas. I have played 10M hands of holdem in the most competitive lineups on stars and always had a solid winrate over the last 10 years.

I can't believe all of you guys giving out your skype information. Do you even know how unsecured skype is? The internet is full of $5 applications that can extract your IP address and perform a DoS attack to any skype user.

I've created a Discord (discordapp.com) server for any plo player interested in sharing thoughts, ideas, hand histories, pokerjuice files and meet fellow 2+2 members. It's a simple to use secure voice/chat application that works on any device. All you need to do is create a free account and either download the desktop application or use the web app.

If you are still interested, follow this link to join the server: https://discord.gg/0mjfy4Bt2KJWq6G1
