Hey guys I probably played around half a million plo 2,5 and 10 hands. A couple of years ago I really tried to make bank, but I always ended up breaking even after spewing off winnings and tilting away money after running bad like you so often do in plo.
Online gambling was prohibited in my country and recently Pokerstars has been allowed to open up again with a restricted marked(only residents can play). I have been consistently grinding up my small roll and I am interested in joining or creating a study group. I will be dedicated to it and won´t take money away from the games you play, so if someone playing higher is interested I don't have a problem doing some boring kind of stuff you ask me to do or whatever so I can compensate for the lack of experience. I really want to learn this game..
I want to try pokerjuice for at least 1 month and study a lot of different situations, probably taking a lot of screenshots and posting them in the group for different flops, turns and rivers against different types of ranges. Pretty interested in how blockers in hour hand change opponents ranges in different spots...
Also other things I would like to improve/discuss are(tl;dr: being better at poker):
HU and 3 player games
Adjusting against different opponents in HU pots. Creative and solid lines you can take in multyway pots influenced by the position/relative position against different player types. Choosing the best seats in the table considering opponents tendencies...
"Set plays" like calling with the nut str8 on a street expecting to bluff opponent of the same hand later. Standard mandatory semi-bluffs or bluffs, spots to check-raise, insta-profit bets..
How to best use the HUD and customising popups
Note-taking and using HM or PT to analyse different opponents games(like best filters to use and things to look for)
Bluffing and bluff-catching on nut changing runouts
General strategy, 3 bet and 4-bet pots discussion, playing out of position, playing deep, playing shortstacked or against them...
How we should size our bets and respond to different bet-sizes by villains,
Bet-sizing and timing tells(the river insta-bet baffles me sometimes) and ways you can try to reverse these on your opponents
Discussing what would be a more theoretical sound(GTO) approach and on the contrary the best exploitative plays
Combinatorics, card removal effects..
Also we could maybe get a coach for some group sessions and if there are more guys that play on restricted markets like me, maybe we could get discounted price, seeing we wouldn´t even play in his field.
Yeah just MP if you are interested to learn, share some thoughts, advice or content. I never been in a study group, but I think it would be a good idea. I don´t necessarily want to create something new, if someone already has something going and wants one more great. If not I don´t mind to create the group on whatever platform is best and organising stuff as long as everyone is contributing.
Hope something comes out of this wall of text... and good grind to everyone..
