What stakes are you playing? Are you buying in short stacked or otherwise??
And in reply to OmahaFanatical's post; Don't tell Coltin to be calling all-in haha
PLO is a rad game & even though my play isn't
as bad as it was a few yrs ago. My understanding of Omaha's complex nuances are at a basic level but still I have some advice for a fellow microfish...
Already
imo by talking about a source of revenue,
you are taking it too seriously at this point. "Like any form of poker your strategy must be dependent upon your opponent's strategy." - There's infinitely more situations that your strategy will have to evolve with. Like pushing your position & over-playing massive draws on the flop is a good time when donks like me will bet all-in without the absolutes. Because when all your nut draws miss then everytime you've decisions to make on the river. Which to me is always simpler when playing tournaments. Showdown value etc.
Limited success only means there is still a lot that you can learn. Until recently I haven't played poker for ages so Full Tilt always had the best PLO tourneys while if I recall Stars had sum fairly soft microfish competition.
If you want to improve your Omaha skills then you might also learn a few things playing PLH.
Stick to pot-limit tournaments for a while!
