Sounds like Jeff Huang's books. I read a few of those when I started which did help me a lot but I took what he wrote way to much to heart and it really slowed my progress on adjusting to a 6-max online environment. I was way to concerned about nuts and not making super basic value bets on rivers/turns with strong hands and no-brain value bets that I do all the time now.

This reminds me of the days where I wrote a threads on here about advice and got angry at people's responses (didn't make that public, or write an angry message). I couldn't believe they were right and it took me a while with a ton of work off the table to make up for it. (And tons of $$ just thrown to the side).

Jeff Hwang is the book I quoted from and he says that a suited Ace with a rundown, pocket pair or any 2 Broadway's is a near premium hand.

Yes, we would like for the pocket pair to be higher as the higher the better but the hand is still a near premium hand. I am just calling the guy out for adding nothing at all but toxicity to the thread and it's bull****. He needs to be called out and by saying what he said leads me to think that he does not know PLO well at all or he would not have said what he said.

PLO from scratch is one of the best books you will find about PLO and it is ONLY for 6 max. I have studied it well. Doesn't mean I don't make mistakes
