PLO 100 decision turn
hey,
This is my first post on the forum. I play plo for a short time. I'd like to have your opinion on one hand. The player plays 35/13/5% of 3Bet. Fold it 60% of the time continuation bet. This is a clear bet on the turn?
We are 160 BB deep

Re: PLO 100 decision turn
Think I like a c-c. We don't mind giving his diamond draws a free look at the river, but he'll fold those to a bet, unless he's beating us.
We really don't fold out many hands we're beat by, nor do we get value from many hands that we beat, and be comfortable on rivers, knowing where we're at and what to do.

Isn't this going to make river ridiculous to play? Don't we need some sort of solid understanding of villain's range here so we can formulate a decent plan for various rivers, rather than simply c/c and hoping to hit a hand that probably doesn't get paid alot.

Re: PLO 100 decision turn
Well, I guess you could CRAI when you don't have good reads on villain to feel like you'll be making less mistakes on the river than him.
Betting pretty much only folds out weak 2pair or worse, and weak draws. Lots of river where we're lost if he flats turn. If villain is aggro post, I guess you could go for half pot inducer and shove vs a raise.

Re: PLO 100 decision turn
given stack size 2/3 pot on the turn, then re evaluate on river(probably shoving regardless)

Re: PLO 100 decision turn
i'd either check/call or bet/ship if get raised but never bet/call because:
1. pot control
2. no worse value hands will call by betting and considering we are looking to chop when the jack hits on the river(non heart), and very likely to be not paid off when the diamond hits
but i'd prefer just c/c.

Re: PLO 100 decision turn
Check/call. The decisive factor in my opinion is that we can potentially bink a black jack and check/shove river.

Re: PLO 100 decision turn
i don't like betting as if we get jammed on we are deep enough that we can fold I think.

Re: PLO 100 decision turn
Depending your 3bet% oop I thibk it's close between c/c and b/c. River is c/c.
