Facing a pot bet with two players to act behind .... I fold this flop. BB has just potted into 3 players. I don't expect this hand to win very often at showdown vs a pot lead into 3 players and two undefined ranges.

pre standard - I think he means 'don't limp'. I think that's subjective UTG tbh. Not like going to steal the pot. Potting folds out hands you dominate, the rest of the time you are trying to catch a low combo board and want more players in.

above is good, muck flop. Interesting with just 1 behind.

if I'm folding this flop (which I agree seems sensible), why on earth would I play 5678? I'm hoping for a flop full of low cards, and who's going to give me action on that, given that most people are holding high cards?

It's about SPR and how much you narrow the deck to suit your hand in terms of flop texture. You need to play narrower. Your flush draw serves as redraw and blockers, it should be ignored otherwise relative to getting it in.

****s and giggles? a sense of adventure?

I expect there are enough (I have no good reason for choosing this word, maybe there are not enough and my sense of things is all out of whack) flop situations we are happy with, this just isn't one of them. Doesn't mean we shouldn't play this hand. Also, micro PLO players do not only play high cards, at least not in my experience.

That's a very good point actually. In future I should expect to win only a small pot with a 8 high flush, folding to any aggression.

    Thank you for advice!

u don't have to fold 8flush to any agression, but play it carefully usually u can get 1 maybe 2 street of value.

Fold pre - I don't think you can get away from this hand as played. Even if you check or bet small on turn you probably call an allin or river.

Your hand is only good with a small carded flop IMO

    Check turn.

You lose your stack either way here, but you might get more from other parts of his range.

    check turn
bet 1/3 to 1/2 pot on river and fold to a raise

What worse hand do you expect to call a pot sized bet on the turn?

Potting the turn, turns your hand into a bluff and or pushes out the hands you are beating that would call a smaller bet(ex. straights, sets, 2 pairs)

I'd just open-fold this hand UTG. It's good to open this in CO or OTB, I like 3betting this hand OTB too. But I don't like playing these low rundowns OOP.

No really correct answer postflop in this situation i think though

    grunch

    as played
raise/3 bet pre or fold pre especially with all that dead money in PLO you are basically trapping by calling IMO cause some idiot (like me) is gonnna raise this limp pot in LP ...

raise flop your wrap + bottom pair is awesome against most BB raises (especially tight ones) ... but I don't love it so much 4 handed ... your 10 high flush draw is hardly good here

check call turn/river - like I said before your flush is hardly good and you aren't getting value from worst flushes too often .. plus you're flush cannot be counterfeited so I don't think you should raise here
