yeah i think people always underestimate the number of VPPs you can rack up playing PLO.

Can someone give me a guesstimate of what sort of VPP level/rakeback I'd make playing approximately 25,000 hands of 50plo a month on Stars?? What about 100plo? I'm trying to compare it to FTP's latest changes...

Unless ur a fulltime poker player 7-8hours a day is pretty long in my eyes.

can anyone tell me why the player i thought was the best reg on this limit is a big big donator ?

Very often the players who invariably give you a hard time and are tough to play against aren't the most profitable ones - by far. That's what I keep telling myself whenever I feel the desire to "LAG it up".

I think that's because a lot of the time the same type of players have a tilt-issue.
Also, there is a thin line between genius and insanity. A few small tweaks on those players may take them from -15bb/100 to +15bb/100 IMO.

Then you must lead a very sheltered life because working 8 hour days is pretty standard in the western part of the world. there are actually some people who *GASP* work overtime at manual labor jobs making a LOT less than what poker players earn. How cold is it under that rock, bruh?

I think this is a really douchy thing to say. Yes a lot of us full time players are as lazy as hell but multitabling for 7-8 hours a day is much more mentally exausting and stressful than just about any other job. I don't expect that there are too many people that can do a full days work, come home and optimally 12 table for 8 hours.

I agree that mass tabling a game like PLO for hours is super mentally exhausting, much more then holdem as well. Not really much stress though lol

+1000

this is pretty spot on exactly

There are a few exceptions of course of people who suck to play against but do really well but that is defintly not the standard from what I have seen

garibaldi,

i didnt think u were slowrolling me today when u flopped the boat in the 5 bet pot against my overpair. but..... u see that u shouldnt assume they are being douchey/angling when they time down online. its not like live where u see exactly what they are doing and know whats going on. maybe his kid came in the room or their wife came and asked a question or maybe they were at work and the phone rang. u never know. anyways, just goes to show u that u shouldnt get pissy and assume its a purposeful angleshoot.

Well I only recently started playing PLO, I have in fact posted in this thread, and I have 6x as many posts as you, so I think calling me out as a "massive lurker" is unwarranted.

yea i know, but the situation i posted was clear, cause i chatted with the guy afterwards (or i mostly insulted him) and he said "blabla thought about how much to raise" so it was clear to me he wasnt doing any other stuff cause he would mentioned it.

im not sure why u think i didnt win money, but according to my hem i won 220$ which is quite good for me.
yea and obv. run sick hot against ya
